I more think its because lets be honest books have difficulty to compete with interactive media and its psychological power it holds like the infamous tik tok 10swc cutting editing etc. Combine that with a fact that sadly persists that reading is not a virtue but a weapon and how its thrown away for favpur of entertainment one has possibly sucesfully made firat steps to alter reality
