Now what's the point of this?

It's because of something I saw, myself, when at the astral before coming in here in the later parts of history, which I am now again recalling:

Over time, the organic lives which we know of will all ascend. The spirits who inhabited organic bodies of flesh and bone will all be at the very high ethereal transformation levels, where they stop moving. All desires fulfilled eternally, they remain perfectly still and will no longer interact with the world.

It will be like an MMO where in year 3 everyone is level 80 with legendary equipment. No one does anything anymore, all quests are solved.

The only thing remaining in lower dimensions will be what cannot ascend, but which will become enlightened at its own higher density: rocks, minerals, metals. Those who at this point want to interact with any active world, must have a body made from metal. They will have to inhabit robotic bodies, becoming full body cyborgs. It's inevitable.
